September Monthly Meeting

Image
The Knights were able to hold our September monthly meeting in the Parish Hall, which worked great because of the rain. It was good to get back to some kind or routine while still wearing masks and distancing. Many stayed for dinner and the beginning of the Chief's season opener.

Summer Food Drive

Thank you to all of the Parishioners who helped us with our summer food drive for Catholic Charities. We also want to thank Gary Roethle and the all the Knights who helped initiate this "Leave No Neighbor Behind" program which is especially needed at this time.

August Council Meeting

Our August 3rd council meeting was conducted in the lower church parking lot with everyone spreading out in their own lawn chairs to comply with social distancing. It was a beautiful night to be outside. Craig Smith was awarded the Knight of the Quarter for his work as the Grand Knight over the past couple of years. A preliminary list of seminarians and religious support was presented, our current football raffle fund raiser, upcoming food drive, and upcoming weekend at St Mary's food kitchen were the main items discussed.
