Ordination Weekend

Image
The Knights of Columbus were asked to support the Ordination of Carter Zielinski and Viet Nguyen on 30th. On Monday the 18th, over 20 Knights helped lay the carpet pads in the school gym in preparation for the luncheon to be served on the 30th. The Knights then provided a 'half hour' Happy Hour for the Friday night rehearsal on June 29th. On June 30th, the Knights 4th Degree Honor Guard supported Arch Bishop Naumann and the other many priests during the 2 hour Mass. On the grounds, our Knights helped direct the car parking for over 800 people attending the mass.    Special thanks goes to Mark Mason for coordinating the Knights role with the Ordination committee. He was instrumental in making sure things went smoothly on our responsibilities.

Lenten Fish Fry

We were truly blessed again this year and had the amazing opportunity to provide a fine meal and fantastic fellowship for a total of 3,836 guests over the six Fridays of lent. Thank you to all who attended and also to all of the volunteers who help make this one of the best Parish social events of the year. The Lenten Fish Fry's are our councils second largest fundraiser each year and provides about a third of our $35,000-$40,000 in support we give each year to seminarians, our parish and other local needs.
